This DIY Candy Heart Centerpiece is a fun and easy way to decorate for Valentine’s Day or a Galentine’s Party.
And aren’t these flowers gorgeous!?
They are as beautiful in pictures as they are in person!
My SIL was over at our house the other day and was complimenting them, from a short distance she even thought they were real!
So now I’m thinking I might need to go back and get more to decorate with in other areas of our home.
Oh, and those heart coasters at the base of the DIY Candy Heart Centerpiece, I have a tutorial for them too!

ps. If you are worried about bugs or want to use the candy hearts again and again for years to come I’ve found that sealing them is a great option that has worked for me. Note: if you seal them they are no longer edible.

Materials:
Clean Hand Towel, optional
Candy Hearts (I used 4-5 bags)
*Clear Acrylic Sealer, matte (optional)

Tutorial:
1. First, place glue dots on the base of the small cylinder glass vase.
2. Place the small cylinder glass vase inside the center of the large cylinder glass vase.
3. Stuff a clean hand towel in the center of the small cylinder vase to prevent the candy hearts from falling down into it (optional).
4. Pour the candy hearts into the large cylinder glass vase, around the smaller cylinder glass vase. I used 4 full bags and part of a 5th bag.
*Note: If you want to protect the candy hearts and use them year after year you can seal the candy hearts with Clear Acrylic Sealer. You can see how I did this in my DIY Conversation Heart Candle Holder tutorial. If you seal the candy hearts they are no longer safe to eat.
5. Remove the clean hand towel from the center of the small cylinder vase.
6. Place your faux stems in the small cylinder vase.
